Programs

We offer a wide variety of programs for our residents.

Register for programs at the Anthony “Tony” Dugas Recreation Center. Registration accepted Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.. Registrations will not be accepted by phone, fax or mail. You must sign up by the registration deadline to guarantee a spot on a team.

*Participants that live within the boundaries of the recreation district pay the resident fee. Proof of residency (current electric bill or tax bill) and proof of age (birth certificate or immunization record) need to be provided at the time of registration.

2012 Baseball and Softball

T-Ball (Boys and Girls) and Baseball Coaches Pitch (7 & 8 boys)

Fee: $750 per team (max. 15 players)

Registration: January 3 – February 10.  Maximum 4 teams per age group.

Fall Baseball
Ages: 9-18 Must be 9 by May 1

Adult Co-ed Soccer
Ages: 18 and over.
Fee: $450 per team
Spring Season: Registration May 14 – June 1

2012 Summer Day Camp

The summer day camps feature supervised programs which include arts and crafts, games bowling, movies, skating, swimming and other activities. The camp fee includes admission to activities. Each child must furnish their own lunch and transportation to and from the camp.

Summer Camp Sessions
Registration for District residents begins Monday, March 5, Non-district residents can begin registration on Tuesday, March 6.  There be eleven one week sessions.
Resident: $80 Non-resident: $120 per child – Discounts for 2 or more.
The first session begins May 23.
*Note camp sessions will be 4 days during holiday weeks
*Ages 5-15
*Hours: 9:00 a.m.-4.00 p.m.
*Early drop-off: 6:30 a.m., Late pick-up until 6:00 p.m. 

Before and After School Program

Students have the opportunity to participate in activities and do school work under supervised conditions. Space is very limited. Children must attend continuously throughout the school year. If a student decides to drop out of the program for a week there is no guarantee that their spot will be available the next week.

Holiday Camps

PARDS operates day camps during Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter. Call 665-1533 for more information.

Adult Dance Program

Youth Dance Program

Our program is designed to introduce your child to the art of dance in a fun, relaxed dance environment regardless of her/his age or ability.  Tuition fees are all inclusive.  Tuition includes class wear, recital costumes, and review fees.  Students will be responsible for her/his shoes only.

Tumbling Classes

Classes run in 5 week sessions. The focus of PARDS Tumbling Class is to develop a solid foundation of tumbling skills that include: balance, forward and back somersaults, handstands, cartwheels, round offs, front and back walkovers, and back handsprings.
