Water Park Update

The Water Park still does not have a firm opening date. The Water Park should be complete by the end of the summer. We will not be able to use it until the Fitness and Aquatics Center walls are erected and the roof is installed. Look through the photos section to monitor the progress of the Water Park and the Fitness and Aquatics Center.

Fitness and Aquatics Center Update

The completion date for the Fitness and Aquatics Center is scheduled for January 1, 2011. Look in the "PHOTOS" section for updated pictures of the construction progress. Membership rates and hours of operation are listed in the "RENTAL INFORMATION" section.

Summer Camp 2010

The 2010 PARDS Summer Camp sign up will begin March 1st at 6:30am for IN District and March 2nd at 6:30am for Out of District.

* IN District MUST have a 2009 Tax Notice or a 2010 Utility Bill at the time of registration. If you do not have this, you will not be able to register until Tuesday and have to pay out of district prices.

* All children must have a copy of current immunization record before starting. Please try to bring at time of sign up.

Summer Camp hours: 9:00am until 4:00pm. Early drop off and late pick up available.

Prices for Summer Camp:

In District:

1 Child: $75.00

2 Children: $140.00

3 Children: $195.00

4 Children: $240.00

OUT of District:

1 Child: $115.00

2 Children: $210.00

3 Children: $295.00

4 Children: $360.00

* Registration Fee: $10.00 per child with a maximum of $20.00 per family

PARDS Wall of Fame - Download nomination forms

PARDS will be taking nominations for the new Wall of Fame which will be located in the lobby of the Anthony "Tony" Dugas Recreation Center.

Any coach, volunteer, former program participant, administrator, board member or individual who has made a significant contribution to the park system will be eligible for induction.

Nomination forms can be picked up Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, at the Anthony "Tony" Dugas Recreation Center, located at 30372 Eden Church Road.

Fitness & Aquatics Facility Under Construction

The PARDS Fitness & Aquatics Facility is now under construction. The 30,000 square foot facility will include:

* 6 lane 25 yard indoor pool

* 1,500 sq ft aerobics room

* Fitness room with 45 pieces of cardio and strength training equipment

* Gymnasium

* Kids zone where parents can leave their children in a supervised environment while using the facility

* Men's and Women's locker facilities

The $6,112,000 facility will be built by Stafford Construction. The estimated completion date will be August 16,2010.
