Adult Dance Program

Cha Cha and West Coast Swing

• Classes begin Monday, May 7 to June 11
• Sessions will run in 6 week intervals.
• Each session will cover one form of ballroom and swing.
• Participants do not need a partner to attend.
• Participants should wear comfortable clothes.

Our Instructors

Ric and Melanie Seeling

Ric and Melanie Seeling have been teaching Baton Rouge to dance in group and private lessons for over 35 years.  They own and operate Ric Seeling Dance Studio which offers a fun and creative atmosphere to teach and train.  Along with a highly qualified teaching staff they choreograph two shows a year, train students for competition and teach classes through the LSU Leisure Class program and the Kinesiology Department also at LSU.

Ballroom dancing is a fun and affordable hobby that is great for people of all ages and skill levels.  It offers mental physical, and social benefits.

We are very fortunate to have Ric, Melanie, and their staff to partner with PARDS  in bringing their dance program to Livingston Parish.
